Here are a few shots from the top of the Continental Divide Chair. This one is looking more or less westerly towards British Columbia. |
 |
This one is looking towards Mount Assiniboine - just poking out of the clouds. I think that it is counted as the highest point in the Alberta Rockies. But at 3620m its still a couple of hundred short of the Aguille du Midi... |

Now we are down on one of the tree-lined runs between the Village and the base of Goat's Eye Chair. Behind the trees you can see that some of Delirium Dive is filling in nicely. There is talk of it opening towards Christmas, but I doubt it. Some big temperature changes mixed in with the precipitation we've had means some dodgy conditions in the back country. |
 |
Looking in the other direction, Bourgeau has been fairly plastered by some of the wetter snow we received. Really beautiful to look at - my photos don't really do justice. |
 |
Looking through the trees again. Slowly more runs are opening on Goat's Eye. I have fond memories from my first season of trying to keep up with the rest of the gondola crew as we did circuits off the chair. |

Ah. The future! They might look crap, and you with it, but they can move. Subject to written test results, I'll be a certified Snow Bike instructor and guide. The only guide I'll ever be, so I'll be milking that one! Mind you, so will every one else in Rental and half the Ski School... |

Ok, not much of an action shot. But trust me - get them on a decent slope and you can carve it up big time. Plus, days after everything is tracked out you can get right into the trees with these and still get some freshies. |

Last Sunday was the first big Sunshine Staff party, or 'Meet the Meat' as it is known. Just a few of the rental crew. The rest of my photos from that night are a little wobbly - suprised this one is as steady as it is... |
